Believe it or not this film is actually not as bad as people might say. You cannot look to hard into the comedic aspect of it. Murphy hasn't been funny in a while. But I don't think that's what this film is about.
It's about growing and accepting yourself for who you are and learning to confront your mistakes. All in all this film had an incredible moral to the story and evoked thought through out. Yeah we all want Eddie Murphy back and maybe he wasn't the best choice for this film but except it for what it is and move on.
He wasn't trying to win and award with it so grow up people. M.
