A Thousand Words disappoints on humor since the script makes Murphy not be able to speak. Since talking is his best quality it makes the movie unfunny and the only redeeming parts are a few decent jokes, Eddie Murphy (as always) being likable and a depressing yet sweet ending.
I don't recommend this one.
