Review of A Taxi Driver (2017) by Siyang L — 01 Sep 2017

Best movie of the year imo. Strong cinematography. Well-acted characters - the highlight being of course the taxi driver, but others were believable also. Comes across as being a bit sappy and it seems like the movie over-dramatizes a bit, but the emotional impact of the events depicted is devastating and well-conveyed.

What I found most special is how this movie brought me back to an earlier time, whenm people were different, and it showed how fragile all our lives are.
