Review of A Taste of Honey (1961) by David J — 20 Jun 2007
What on earth is on that cover? Looks nothing like Salford in either the 60s or 2007. No matter, Sheelagh Delaney's script, combined with the most amazing performances by Rita Tushingham, Dora Bryan and Murray Melvin make this film one of the best records of North-West life that has ever been made.
