Review of A Tale of Two Sisters (2003) by David. B — 09 Apr 2008

This is a really slow paced movie that flows like a beautifully scripted drama. It's not often slow paced films appeal to me, but since it managed to express various emotions through out it's length I didn't get completely bored like I do during most asian ghost stories. The atmosphere and location is beautiful as well as the characters. This is a movie to watch on a rainy day preferably night. Make sure nothing is on your mind and sit back and let the story unfold.

The english remake comes out soon, so do yourself a favour and check this out before the what will be SHITE remake enters theaters!!!!! STOP GOING TO SEE THE DAMN REMAKES PEOPLE AND THEN HOLLYWOOD MAY STOP MAKING THEM!!!!!
