Fight Club + The Sixth Sense = A Tale of Two Sisters?
That's not really giving it enough credit. The plot may leave something to be desired, but in terms of style? This film has it made. An interesting juxtaposition against many j-horror movies as it almost never goes for the jump scare but instead chooses to immerse you in its strange atmosphere. Very well played on that front.
