Beautifully made horror-drama with great acting and creativity. Has some very scary parts, intriguing characters, and a well developed keep-you-guessing plot with a nicely done twist ending. Well worth watching even if you're not a fan of subtitles.
Obviously inspired by Ringu (The Ring), but not a rip off by any means. The biggest similarity of this to Ringu and Ju-on is the makeup and hair of the undead/ghosts, which is the then-popular long black hair covering one eye with cocked head look.
