Review of A Streetcar Named Desire (1951) by Wieland R — 02 Nov 2008
Hey Stella!!!...Marlon Brando starring as the reckless brute Stanley breaks new acting ground and establishes a higher standard for male leads to follow and is equaled by the divine Vivien Leigh breathlessly portraying his neurotic sister-in-law Blanche.
..much calamity ensues as the film unfolds and these two troubled souls clash...this is an exceptional classic recommended for anyone that enjoys a great character driven drama.
