Review of A Streetcar Named Desire (1951) by Linda K — 30 Jan 2009
Two things about this film. First, Vivien Leigh might get you nuts by the end of the film because her character is completely crazy! Needless to say, Leigh performed it very perfectly! Second, Marlon Brando is absolutely astonishing! I now understand why so many young actors want to be like him. Brando knows how to make his co-stars and the audience react through his performance. He is just top notch!
All in all, it might not be the best story i've seen, but the acting is clearly the best aspect of the film!
