Review of A Streetcar Named Desire (1951) by Ryan H — 29 Dec 2010
Amazing character study about a woman who has already lost her mind. The slow realization of the film is done perfectly by Elia Kazan. Some of the scenes looked Bergman-esque. Vivien Leigh did an excellent job portraying a very deep and difficult character.
And it is worth sitting through to get Marlon Brando's "Hey Stella!".
