Review of A Streetcar Named Desire (1951) by Matthew F. J — 22 Oct 2014

This classic and somehow timeless drama is pretty interesting to watch today. Brando and Leigh are incredible in their part though Leigh truly get to shine and has the best lines. Brando is obviously talented though he plays Stanley a little too brash but maybe that was completely intended.

Since it's based on a play the action pretty much takes place in one location. The film has ages a lot but remain a curious and interesting piece of cinema from the Hollywood Golden era. For any film aficionados, I guess it's a must see.
