I was a little worried about the background of the main character and what he was doing, but when we (my girlfriend and I) watched it we found a compelling story of a hopless person who made something of himself with the aid of his feline companion.
The well told and heartfelt story was very enjoyable for both of us. Though the film is unrated age limit, I would add that it would be more suited to adults..
