Review of A Street Cat Named Bob (2016) by Adam T — 10 Nov 2016
Roger Spottiswoode's 'A Street Cat Named Bob' (2016) is a charming little film that will warm your heart with its story and characters. If I was to compare this film to another, I would say that it's kind of like a feel good version of Ken Loach's 'I, Daniel Blake' (2016), dealing with similar social dramas but instead of depressing you, it makes you smile.
Personally though, I feel like this film would have worked slightly better as a TV film, its uplifting nature would have been perfect for a 90 minute Christmas TV slot.
