This version has NOTHING on Barbara Streisand/Kris Kristofferson from the 70's. Bradley Cooper does an amazing job breathing life into his character. Lady Gaga starts out with some credibility but then very quickly becomes just the usual Lady Gaga.
I did not see any emotional depth to her performance or real understanding of the character.
The movie was ok but nothing special. I would not recommend as a must see at all.
