Review of A Star Is Born (2018) by Muzz M — 19 Nov 2018
Lame.
Bradley Cooper's acting pretty much limited to portraying a fall-down drunk. Lady GaGa skills limited to playing a sitcom ingenue who wants to get away from blue-collar daddy and corresponding lifestyle. Cooper randomly "discovers" singing La Vie en Rose at a tranny club while looking for a drink. The duets uninspiring, the love scenes pre-Hayes code. Why was this movie remade? Beats me. Adds nothing to the genre. Nothing at all.
