Review of A Star Is Born (2018) by Pepito H — 09 Nov 2018
I liked it at the beginning because I saw a Lady Gaga that was more human, more vulnerable and insecure about her physical appearance, but towards the end, she becomes Lady Gaga with a Diva attitude and the last song is like a cameo of The Bodyguard with Whitney Houston except that Lady Gaga's voice is not as powerful as the latter one.
Bradley Cooper voice and acting are exceptional when he sang the last song interrupting Lady Gaga singing it made me cry because his voice touched my soul. Gaga's song is no natural is too prefabricated and premeditated and nothing special.
The middle of the movie is a little boring and makes you a little impatient because there's no much going on. I liked how they made the sad part, sad but not morbid.
