A wonderful hymn to feminism and the fall of man. Gaga sings beautifully and Bradley handles a double scotch with aplomb It's a well-made soap opera in which self-fulfillment tramples upon lesser self-fulfillment.
. It's not a patch on the Judy Garland and James Mason version but then issues weren't the driving force of entertainment.
