A Star Is Born is an incredible emotional roller coaster. Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga continually impressed me as the film progressed. The acting by the main stars and the supporting cast (especially Sam Elliott, Shangela, and Willam) was well done and came across as very natural, which I believe can partly be contributed to Cooper's direction.
The soundtrack is phenomenal and the film's ballads are the best of Gaga's career. Cooper clearly has a lot of previously unexplored musical talent as well. Listening to the music takes you back to the pivotal moments of the film.
This is a remake done right that will leave you with memorable moments and plenty of earworms.
