She's captivating, he's rather narcissistic. Cooper is too busy focusing on himself making the whole movie about him refusing even to leave in silence. Lady Gaga excelled as an actress and a performer with her grade A voice.
It's shame that this short story was butchered to into a tiny glimpse of grandiose Cooper's ego that however he tries is intermittently overshadowed by Lady Gaga and Sam Elliott.
