What Bradley Cooper has accomplished with A Star Is Born is nothing short of astounding, and even more so for a directorial debut. He not only directed and stars in the movie (giving a brilliant, poignant performance as singer Jackson Maine), but also co-wrote the movie and penned some of the songs.
Combined with a stunning performance by Lady Gaga and superb supporting roles from Sam Elliot and Andrew Dice Clay, this is a truly memorable, if heartbreaking, love story that will take your breath away and leave you motionless in your seat even as the final credits are rolling.
Thank you Mr Cooper for gifting us this towering, affecting achievement.
