Review of A Star Is Born (2018) by Sinead K — 10 Oct 2018

I was disappointed to find out after viewing this that it was a remake, as it seems harder these days to find great original movies. However, this does not detract away from my admiration of the film. Lady Gaga shows that she has good acting as well as musical talent and while others have commented on the poor chemistry between her and Bradley Cooper, I thought it was amazing.

He also puts in an excellent turn as the conflicted alcholic musician. While the film dragged in places, it overall was a great watch with beautiful musical scenes and a touching ending. I think Oscar nominations will be coming its way.
