Review of A Star Is Born (2018) by Mark H — 06 Oct 2018
It may be a bit too long and follows the beats of the originals, but I found this to be very entertaining and most of all very moving. Bradley Cooper is great as always, this time behind the camera and singing as well, but Lady Gaga was such a surprise.
She proves that she has real acting chops, and did such a good job that she moved me to tears at points. The cast is great overall, the music is really good and the story is still powerful on its fourth time around.
Go see this, it's one of the best of the year.
