This movie had a lot to say, and it said it well. I went into this movie thinking it was a chick flick and boy was I wrong. This film was beautifully crafted and tells many different stories. There is a story of love & loss, of substance abuse, of talent & potential, of family & legacy, and the human experience.
It is extremely rare that a movie makes me cry, but it did several times. The movie is long at 2 1/4 hours long! But I enjoyed the journey and will watch this one again.
