Been looking forward to this movie ever since I found out it was coming, way back at the end of last spring. It did not disappoint!! IMO (and I'm sure I'll be crucified for this) it was better than the 1976 version as the characters were somewhat better developed.
It was honest and heartfelt. Anyone who has ever loved an addict felt Ally's pain and conflict, and Jackson's tortured soul broke our heart. I will never forget these performances!!
