Yes it's sad. Yes it is moderately depressing. Holistically it's beautiful and very real. Some might be upset at the intentional references and impacts of alcoholism, drug use and depression but they only make the story more mesmerizing and relatable. The chemistry was amazing. Never cared for Gaga but she developed a new fan today. Absolutely engaging and gorgeous. Cooper could easily be a musician. As a man, I am willing to go as far as saying that he is one of the most talented actors of our time. His talents are truly limitless. If you don't like this movie emotion is something that eludes you.
Oscar worthy and I hope both win.
