Review of A Star Is Born (2018) by Mara Reinstein for Us Weekly — 30 Aug 2018
A Star Is Born tries very, very hard to be the most emotional movie of 2018. I'm not convinced it wins on that front, but I can say it gets the prize for most hysterical melodrama. Take it as a compliment.
