Review of A Star Is Born (1976) by Tim C — 04 Mar 2009
I think this is the best remake of the original 1937 I have ever seen, and that kinda sucks becuase I love Judy's! It made better sense to put it in the music world- smart choice Babs. Failing rock star rising a new one.
The music is fabulous and the rockudrama approach works, and making Esther keeps her name, and finding strength in their tears. Kris Kristofferson was sad, but so badass, although I got it after the first 30 minutes.
