A Star is Born is almost 3 hours long but when a picture is so terrificly well done, who cares?. Judy Garland was a great artist, dancer, singer and actress. Too bad she didn't win the Oscar for playing this role.
Thr film is visually impressive: the art direction, the choreographies, the gowns, everything is impecable. I just loved this movie so much that I don´t think it's overrated, as a musical A Star is Born is exciting and as a drama it's shocking and highly involving, the ingredients to make a classic movie are found in there.
