Apparently in the future everything looks like bad constructed CGI and leftover sets from director Hyams other 'great' sci-fi flick Timecop. Thinking about it Van Damme would have been outstanding in this prime slice of B-movie cheese. But instead we have Ed Burns (doing his best) and Sir Ben Kingsly (Didn't he win an Oscar once? I'm thinking gambling debts or an addiction to horse tranqualisers may have pushed him down this increasingly slippery slope of bad movies.) everybody else is fairly faceless dinosaur fodder.
Its shit but thinks its not - dont let it try and convince you otherwise.
