Probably the worst movie I've ever seen. Horendous dialogue, shabby cinematography, and pathetic visual effects that resemble a Discovery Channel special. Ed Burns trashes whatever reputation he had remaining since Saving Private Ryan, and Ben Kingsley.
.. I just don't know. I like to pretend that he had no idea how terrible the special effects were going to be. It's like they realized after filming that they had accidentally spent all their money, and had to sacrifice everything they had envisioned in the post-production effects.
But what makes the whole thing unforgivable is the cinematic theivery. There are shots that are identical to other bad films like Timeline, and good ones like Jurassic Park and Jumanji. The only reason I gave one star is for the laughability of the whole thing.
And Sir Kingsley.
