Review of A Single Man (2009) by Michael L — 19 Dec 2010
If you've ever wondered what Colin Firth looks like reading a book while taking a dump, then this is the film for you. Beautifully shot, lovingly directed take on Christopher Isherwood's novel following George, through a day - dealing with grief, drinking spirits, smoking cigarettes, mooching around a great house, driving a lovely Mercedes, smelling dogs, flashbacks and multiple gay encounters.
He packs a lot in, if he keeps this up he'll have a heart attack.
