Who said that the fashion people have style and no substance? Was suprised to learn that it was a debute film by the the fashion designer turned director Tom Ford (who also financed it). Stunning performance by Colin Firth who turned Mr Darcy into a closeted gay professor.
A nice add on -the production design is by the same team that designed Mad Men. Mad Men star Jon Hamm has an uncredited voice cameo as the cousin of Jim, George's lover.
