Directing newbie Tom Ford starts out strong with this incredibly well-crafted drama bringing out Firth's acting prowess with his portrayal as gay man in the 60s. But the thing I love in this movie is the set design! love the architecture and detail, the 1960's setting.
and did I mention Ford was a former GUCCI designer? No wonder the actors were well-dressed, the men with their dapper suits, julliane moore with classy dresses, 60's style! I like the feel of the movie.
