A well-constructed, poignant story. I liked the way the director portrayed emotions with the muted tones and occasional splashes of colour. Colin Firth and Julianne Moore were very good... However, I felt impatient watching this film, as though the story dwelled on scenes for too long, and I really wanted to hit the 'fast-forward' button, which isn't my usual response when watching a film about grief and loss.
