Good, but ultimately a bit unsatisfying. Interesting subject, and plot had potential. However, it does feel laboured, like the whole thing was locked on Repeat. Plus, while there were many good points made regarding gay rights, and civil rights in general, and a few hints at even bigger picture issues, it fails to state anything really profound.
Good performance by Colin Firth - he deserved his Best Actor Oscar nomination.
