A Single Man is a fantastic study of a man who is dealing with the loss of a long time companion. Taking cues on mood from such classics as Louise Malle's The Fire Within, along with an incredible sense of stillness and place, Tom Ford's film is one to be watched, cherished and healthily sighed over.
