Review of A Single Man (2009) by Baby4God B — 22 Apr 2012

Colin Firth is outstanding in this movie, I found his character was very well portrayed and I thought he entertained me pretty well throughout the whole movie, but unfortunately for the movie itself I wouldn't call it great.

I think this movie was trying real hard to be this artist Drama and really it should have been just a normal Drama. I think the direction of this movie is very well done, I think Tom Ford knows what he's doing, but I did found the script work lacking a bit.

Also the other performances by the other actors were kind of boring especially from Julianne Moore and Nicholas Hoult, I found them two to be kind of boring and pointless, luckily Colin Firth and Mathew Goode were in this movie to pick it up.

But anyways this movie The Single Man is neither good or bad I could take it or leave it.
