Yeah its stylish, and Colin Firth is unbelievably good but its a bit dull. Tom Ford is a high end designer, and it shows in every part of the film but mostly its style over substance, and that only gets you so far.
The themes of loneliness and heartache are diluted a fair bit by how superficial and shallow the main character is.
