Thoroughly enjoyable family-oriented fantasy. Martin Short is nothing short (no pun intended) of hilarious, Mara Wilson is charming as always, and Kathleen Turner makes a deliciously wicked witch. The music and mix of various fairy tales only add to the fun.
Pay attention to the opera scenes: they are simply breathtaking.
