Review of A Simple Twist of Fate (1994) by Soheil W — 24 May 2011
An odd little melodrama full of contrivances and silly plot twists. It's not horrible - if anything, it's very interesting in its badness. It's freely (though my guess is not freely enough) adapted from a Victorian novel, and it doesn't translate nearly as well as, say, EMMA (to CLUELESS).
It just reads as silly.
