Review of A Simple Plan (1998) by Rosana G — 18 May 2009
This has got to be one of the best movies I've seen. When I first saw Fargo, I was impressed by the seemingly never ending twists and tragedies the movie could comprehend. Again, this is the case with A Simple Plan. Even the name says it all. Everything's okay and simple in the beginning, then suddenly this, then suddenly that, and before you know it, everything is messed up and impossible to fix. One "point of no return" after the other.
If you're a fan of the Coen brothers, like me, this is your movie.
