Review of A Simple Plan (1998) by Liam D — 08 Jul 2007
Incredibly well-casted film coupled with strong individual perfomances that suck you in from the beginning.
All three leads: Paxton, Fonda, Thornton manage to help you ride the fine line of moral dilemma - they're so likeable and so deserving you want them to get away with everything they do.
The pace of the film takes your morals down and down, like a slow boiling frog, until you are forced to find the point when the protagonists' choices become completely reprehensible and irreparable.
