Review of A Simple Plan (1998) by John B — 04 Oct 2012
Extremely well crafted thriller from Sam Raimi, possibly the best performance from Bill Paxton and the rest of the cast does a fine job as well. When two brothers and a friend stumble across a downed plane in the woods they find the dead pilot and millions of dollars.
Soon the three involved start to make rash decisions and a whirlpool of murder begins. Finely paced and has alot of great acting to back up the desparation of the characters. Has that same feeling as Fargo, which is not a surprise since the Coen Brothers used to work with Raimi.
