A Simple Favor is one of those movies that keeps you guessing until the end. Even after you find out Emily is still alive, you have no idea how it is all going to play out. The movie is completely full of twists, turns, and huge surprises.
It also has humorous parts to it. The movie's plot keeps viewers interested the whole time by providing clues throughout the movie that only come together towards the end. The movie introduces new characters who will obviously play a role in the outcome, but at the time you have no idea how.
The actors and actresses chosen to play these roles fit perfectly, with Anna Kendrick being the sweet, innocent woman, and Blake Lively playing Emily, the mysterious, secretive one. The ending could be a little more realistic, as I felt they made it a little too dramatic and over the top.
Overall, this movie met my expectations and I would recommend to anyone who enjoys a combination of drama, mystery, and a little bit of humor.
