Review of A Simple Favor (2018) by Jordan Ruimy for World of Reel — 04 Oct 2018
Its success is due in part to Feig's insistence of never taking the material so seriously & for the casting of his two intuitive leads, both of whom know exactly what kind of tone he is going for. The film is trashy, campy, but compulsively watchable.
