Review of A Simple Favor (2018) by Giorgio G — 28 Sep 2018

The trailer makes this to appear a cool strange suspense movie, and with this expectation one surely goes to see it. And that's what it is pretty much for most of the time. But, completely unexpected, a few silly jokes in the first half later on turn into a more humorous, weird funny story, which within the last minute becomes a hilarious comedy with one full final bang.

They obviously borrowed that from one of the Scary Movies (I won't tell which one not to spoil it). But I swear, you will leave the theater with a big bright smile on your face. It's tense, it's witty, it's funny and with a sweet Anna Kendrick at her best, confronting a charming Blake Lively, this is one to really enjoy! 8/10 points.
