Review of A Shot in the Dark (1964) by Tom S — 08 Jun 2007
Probably the best of the Closeau films - Sellers gets centre stage for the first time and although this betrays its origins as a stage farce, many of Clouseau's finest moments are here. When the character was revived in the seventies, Sellers would not play the character with anything like the careless grace he evinces here.
