Review of A Shot in the Dark (1964) by Michael T — 14 Feb 2008
This is the second film in the 'Pink Panther' series and is probably the best in the series. The Pink Panther gem is not stolen and plays no role in the plot. Elke Sommer is accused of murder and the infatuated Clousseau (Peter Sellers) tries to prove that she is innocent, even as more bodies pile up.
This is a very funny film but it is also a pretty gripping thriller.
