Review of A Short Film About Killing (1988) by Ihra L — 08 Sep 2008
[Dekalog] 5. (The significance off [Dekalog] indeed surpassed Krzysztof Kieslowski's globally renowned [The Double Life of Veronique] & [Trois couleurs] Trilogy.) Bleak as it looked superficially whilst passionate deep down actually.
A reflection off Poland's society & values Poles shared in 1980s. Absolute realistic enhanced by great cinematography (photography in particular) & acting (especially the excellent Miroslaw Baka as the central character Jacek Lazar).
