Review of A Serious Man (2009) by Jj M — 26 Jan 2011
I don't know, I'm not sure I got this. What the hell was all that garb at the start? 'Jews! its about jews!' I hear you say. Fine, but not really my cup of horlicks. However, fine acting, nice little micro-cosmos of sixties america suburbia and the usual zany quips in dialogue from the Coens.
I think they got the license to do anything they wanted after they won the oscar for No Country. Heres hoping True Grit brings it all back.
